Subprocessors

BuilderPad, Inc. ("BuilderPad", "we") uses the third parties below to help provide BuilderPad and BuilderPad Finance (formerly inBuild). Each one processes Customer Data only to perform the task listed, under a written agreement with data-protection terms at least as protective as our Data Processing Agreement.

This list is the "Approved Subprocessors" list referenced in our Data Processing Agreement. We will email account owners at least 10 business days before adding or replacing a subprocessor. To add another contact for these notices, email privacy@builderpad.com with the subject "Subprocessor updates".

Infrastructure and hosting

AI processing

We use AI to read invoices and bills and to extract their details. We do not use Customer Data to train AI models, and we only use AI providers on terms that prohibit them from training on Customer Data. See "AI features" in our Terms of Service.

Planned AI providers. We plan to add Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, xAI (Grok) and Meta (Muse). They receive no Customer Data today. Before any of them does, we will configure it under terms that prohibit training on Customer Data and give notice as described above.

Payments and banking

Our own business systems

We use these to run our company. They hold customer contact details and anything you send us directly, not the contents of your BuilderPad account, unless you share it with us (for example in a support request or on a call).

We also work with a small number of contractors (for example developers and accountants) who may access Customer Data only when needed for their work, under written confidentiality obligations.

Integrations you connect

When you connect a third-party service, data moves between BuilderPad and that service at your direction, under your own agreement with it. These services are not our subprocessors. They include Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365, Gmail, QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Time, Procore, Sage Intacct and Sage 100, DocuSign and Dropbox.
